Hitting The Tennis Ball

You often hear me say, "Hit the ball!" I am not asking you to swing just for the sake of swinging. I am asking you to think about what you're doing. Galvanize all of your efforts and energies into that one moment of time and then work to make something great happen. By doing so your tennis game can't help but to take off. It's when you allow doubt to creep into your thoughts that your potential is radically transformed and your potential can never be truly experienced.

Anxious thoughts and doubts are a natural part of an athlete's life. It's how we handle these anxious thoughts and doubts that will determine the level of greatness we will achieve.

When I talk about greatness I am meaning that it's a great thing when we're moving in the direction of actually living out our maximum potential on the tennis court. That's my job as a coach. It's to recognize your potential and then work to get you there. Learn to hit that tennis ball with everything you have a
nd then watch your whole life change and grow.

Memorial Day Remembrance - 2012

To those that gave their lives, and their loved ones who survived them, so that we might live in this great country, we owe you a debt of gratitude that we will never be able to repay. I know that Memorial Day is to honor those that gave their lives for us, but I do want to thank each of you RJ Tennis Boot Campers who are presently serving and or who have served, who gave of yourselves and made countless sacrifices in serving this country, to my father who served in the Korean war, to my brother in law who served in the Air Force, to my cousin who served in the Vietnam war, to Matt Schnappauf, Michael Sunray & Tyler Rauer, some of my divers who joined the services, I, humbly and with deep gratitude, thank you. I am proud to be an American and I love the United States of America.
 Rob
In loving memory to those that gave their lives:
